Portal Security Configuration
Organizations can configure OpenID Connect authorization
providers, SAML 2.0 identity providers and/or LDAP repositories to
secure portals owned by the organization. An organization may have
any number of connected authentication services, but a given portal
may only be associated with a single authentication system.
Note: Security, LDAP, SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect are all very complex. A deep overview
of these
subjects is outside the scope of this document. Users attempting to set up security
configurations
should have knowledge of how LDAP, SAML 2.0, and/or OpenID Connect function before
reading this
section.
